I like to write and I always seem to have something to say.  Years ago I had a blog when it was just me, Josh, and the dog.  I did a decent job of keeping it updated when Adri was born, I slacked off a lot when Cooper was born, and it pretty much died by the time Emory was 9 months old.  I didn't have the time or energy to update multiple things and so Facebook became the quicker and easier way to show my family and friends the latest cute pictures of my kids.  During the time I had the first blog, our daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor and her caringbridge page became my primary means of communicating with the world.  For whatever reason, her story interested a lot of people and writing updates as well as general thoughts and feelings became an outlet for me.  She has been healthy for several years so that site has been pretty quiet, but I have continued writing via our church's women's ministry blog.  As our family begins to venture into the world of foster care, I decided it was time to have a way to share my more personal thoughts again.  Hopefully I can balance my reflections on marriage, my daughter's health, and the emotional world of fostering with the funny kid stories that I always seem to have.  Thanks for reading my ramblings.
